We have some good news!
Senator McCaskill's office tells me the IRS/SSA have removed the July 1, 2009 compliance date.
There will be no implementation date set until all the issues are resolved.
The working group met this week to begin unraveling the implications for different positions and other issues in this complex matter.
All is not resolved in our favor at this point, but at least we don't have the July 1 date looming over teachers as they try to make decisions about this contract cycle.
There is no timeline for the working group/task force, so it is unpredictable as to when we will have answers.
